ATALANTA is a classic 25m Feadship, offering spacious accommodation with modern amenities, whilst fully respecting the authentic interior and exterior style of this historic Dutch yacht.
She is great for families and couples alike.
ATALANTA is a classic teak-on-steel frame motor yacht built in 1958 by “de Vries shipyard”, a founder member of the Feadship organization, to a design by De Voogt.
She was commissioned by Mr B.E.Ruys, who was an important shipowner in Rotterdam.
She is now part of Dutch nautical heritage. Her present owners have undertaken a complete refit in 2007, fully respecting the authentic interior and exterior style of this important vessel.
On the romantic aft deck you will find a dining table for 10 people and 4 seats in the open wheelhouse.
The salon is at the same level, with 4 easy chairs, offering wonderful views in all directions, when ATALANTA is at sail.
For sun-worshipers there is plenty of space forward and midships.
Downstairs forward, there is a large saloon/galley area which was completely rebuilt during the refit.
The interior dining and fully equipped open galley areas offer a fantastic ambiance with the atmosphere of the sixties.
Downstairs aft, ATALANTA is completely authentic with her very elegant and simple woodwork from the sixties.
There is accommodation for 8, with 4 twin cabins and 2 bathrooms.
Each cabin has a wash basin and individually controlled air-conditioning.
The master cabin has 2 large single beds plus a bathroom/toilet en suite.
The crew quarters are forward with separate entrance and facilities.

Duties of the charterer:
In case you do not contract to skipper, you must prove that you are qualified to drive a boat with any type of valid nautical qualification.
Specific Terms relating to the charter of a boat:
When we arrange for the charter of a boat, we operates sometimes to an agency model. This means that we act as a disclosed agent for third party suppliers, such as the boat owner, charterer or operator charter. Much like an estate agent, we also act as your agent and we are responsible to you for the proper performance of those agency services. These terms form the contractual basis of that agency service.
However, what that also means is that the final contract for the boat itself will be between you and that provider charter. Not between you and us. There is a difference between the agency services we provide (which involves the service of finding you relevant boats) and the current boat charter. Although you don't pay us (we get paid by receiving commission from our suppliers) the price you will pay will, in nearly all cases, be the same as if you went to the suppliers direct.
In many cases the contract between you and the provider will not allow you to cancel and receive your money back unless the operator can re-charter the boat. To protect yourself against this risk we suggest you purchase the relevant travel insurance, Further, even if a charter can be cancelled there may be charges imposed on you by our suppliers in the event that you wish to cancel, just as there may be if you want to make an amendment to your booking. These charges will be in the contract between you and the provider yacht.
When you make any special requests that go beyond the services listed on the website we will of course work without suppliers to try to ensure that the special request is met. However, special requests cannot be guaranteed, and, unless any liability arises due to us not complying with this term, we cannot be liable if the special request is not met.
It is important that all the information you give us when you contact us or when you otherwise use the website, is correct. This includes, without limit, ensuring that we have your correct contact (including e-mail) details at all times. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes by contacting our customer services as soon as possible. We can not be held liable for sending you travel documents or other relevant information where you have given us contact details redundant or incorrect.
You must ensure that before traveling you have suitable and adequate travel insurance arranged to cover the entire period of your holiday. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all those traveling with you have a valid passport and any necessary visa and that you have obtained any necessary vaccinations to gain entry to any country you are visiting.
All relevant travel documentation will be sent to you by e-mail in good time before the start of the charter period. Please make sure that upon your receipt of the travel documents, you check them carefully to make sure they accord with our agreement.
The following terms apply to your general use of this website:
Access to this website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our website without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our website, or our entire website, to users who have registered with us.
If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
Information is subject to change without notice and is offered without warranty. TAX, VAT, and permit fees may apply depending on home port. We will confirm each charter and all pricing details during your charter selection process, and there is no formal commitment until a contract is signed by the charterer and the boat owner, agent or operator.
